Welcome to the Urban Community Farm, a vibrant space dedicated to sustainable agriculture, community learning, and artistic expression. Spanning several acres, our farm includes a range of features designed to nurture both the land and the people who visit:
• 20 x 40 ft Aquaculture Barn: Explore innovative water-based farming methods that support fish and plant life symbiotically.
• 1/4 Acre Traditional Organic Crop: Experience the benefits of chemical-free, organic farming that promotes soil health and biodiversity.
• 1/4 Acre Orchard: Our orchard is home to a variety of fruit trees, providing fresh, local produce to the community.
• 40 x 40 Learning Barn: A dedicated space for educational workshops and hands-on activities that engage learners of all ages.
• 1/2 Acre Community Garden: A shared space where residents can grow their own food, featuring an Honor Wall to celebrate community leaders, a beautiful Rose Garden, and the future site of a Sensor Playground designed for sensory exploration and inclusivity.
• 80-foot Art Mural Wall: Showcasing community-driven art, this stunning mural captures the spirit of our neighborhood and its connection to nature.

Dr. Carver’s Lab:
A space dedicated to after-school programs for young learners and day programs tailored to the special needs community. Here, youth and adults alike can engage in STEM-based activities, fostering creativity and practical skills.
Food Hub:
Our Food Hub provides vital services for the local community:
• Assistance for SNAP recipients, ensuring access to fresh, locally grown food.
• Home delivery for homebound individuals and seniors, making healthy food more accessible.
• Distribution of fresh produce to two local food centers and one feeding center, supporting food security initiatives in our district.
Soul Fire Education:
Focused on promoting community-wide environmental sustainability and wellness, Soul Fire Education offers a variety of adult programs, including:
• Environmental Sustainability Workshops: Learn eco-friendly practices for maintaining our planet and contributing to a healthier environment.
• Whole Health and Wellness Education: Improve your overall well-being with classes that cover mental, physical, and spiritual health.
