Semiconductors & Microelectronics

Florida ranks 3rd nationally in semiconductor establishments and 5th in employment, with 18,000+ jobs backed by sustained state workforce investment.

Pathway 02

AI, Data & Cybersecurity

Regional demand for AI, analytics, and cloud talent outpaces supply. The region already employs 2,024 software developers, 385 information security analysts, and 260 data scientists.

Pathway 03

Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics

Med-tech and additive-manufacturing anchors span Lee and Collier counties, while Charlotte County is emerging as an advanced manufacturing and aerospace corridor.

Aviation, Aerospace & Uncrewed Systems

Boeing projects 728,000 new maintenance technicians globally through 2045 (123,000 in North America); ATEC reports a 10% shortage of certificated mechanics. FAA-certificated remote pilots are projected to reach roughly 628,600 by 2030.
